We have been working real hard for a lower cost alternative to led dance floors. Introducing our new product line of fiber optic dance floors. We have incorporated end glow fiber optic cable along with our fiber optic dance floor paver lights and a fiber optic illuminator and are packaging these as a lower cost alternative to other dance floor systems. The best thing about these floors is that you can place them indoor or outdoor. Every product is UL listed, there are no bulbs to ever change in the dance floor tiles themselves and you will never need to maintain the tiles or the fiber optic cable itself.

My heart goes out to any local people who lost family members on Flight 3407. This accident happened about 6 miles from my house.
I initially reported the news to Drudge Report, Fox News and CNN via their online news submit and Drudge report had picked up the story first on the national level.
For any local families who do have a loss, my heart goes out to you and your family. If any assistance is needed by any local family, please contact us.

Just as I predicted on March 26th, 2007 in a earlier post, Color Kinetics is being purchased by a major lighting manufacturer. As far as the industry is concerned I think this is good news overall. Phillips has the manufacturing power that Color Kinetics never possessed and I would expect the price of LED lighting products to drop over the course of the next year which is a good thing for consumers. It will be very interesting to see how Phillips wraps color kinetics distributors into their portfolio since most distributors are highly trained professionals when it comes to led lighting products. Hopefully Phillips will not lose the edge on computer driven light because the led market is getting more competitive every day.
This is a tidbit of interesting news, Ledtronics Inc, website was completely copied by the Chinese company, Jiaxing Chuantian Lighting Co.A customer informed Ledtronics of it and they took action. Ledtronics is a good company and we sell some of their product lines and its a shame that a Chinese Manufacturer attempted to sell products with Ledtronics content that they work very hard on.
My advice, be very careful when ever you purchase led lighting products from Chinese website, especially if they copied others websites. We have seen this happen before. If you do not purchase from the source that wrote the material, then you really do not know what the specifications of the lights you will be getting. Guess Ledtronics will be busy filing DMCA complaints with Google, Yahoo and MSN.
Recently there has been some news that Color Kinetics should either be a buy or hold with a target price of $25. Being experienced in the led lighting industry I would say its a definite buy and you should consider holding the stock. Color Kinetics is very smart as a company with the way they patent led products. With a bunch of other manufacturers paying Color Kinetics for licensing agreements, Color Kinetics continues to grow their cash fund. They spend a lot of money in Research and Development each year to expand their offerings.
I checked today and it was trading at $18 a share and I would say you should invest in this company for the long term. As the led market grows, so will Color Kinetics. Eventually we might see GE try to purchase the company as the industry moves towards replacing the average incandescent light bulb with led light bulbs. So you should consider holding on to this stock for the long run.
Color Kinetics is a good investment, you should consider purchasing their stock.
Super Vision International recently decided to change their name to Nexxus Lighting. In December Super Vision sold more than $9 million dollars of stock to private investors and planned on using the money to execute a new business strategy. This is a very interesting move on their part. As a distributor of Super Vision Products, we have not seen much of a change at all from our end.Â
Their pool lighting products and commercial products are a strong market but the sign lighting division is not doing as well at all due to stiff competition of Chinese companies led lights. They are in the process of moving their corporate headquarters to North Carolina and its production facility to a new location in Orlando Florida.  It will be interesting to see how the company will operate with the heads of the company in one state and the body of the company many miles away.Â
Super Vision is starting to gain a larger market in the United States in fiber optic lighting as we have witnessed, but the led lighting products are typically too expensive for the end user.  Lighting products are selling at a much lower cost from Chinese competitors right now.  The down side of the Chinese companies are their warranty work though and Super Vision should concentrate on extending their warranties for their products to three to five years instead of two.   Super Vision has a great system for warranty issues and by pushing an expanded warranty program, the few hundred dollars extra a customer would spend might be well spent.
